rotfr is an interesting private server because this Ragnarok old game seems to be like a recent MMORPG with its dual job system. We can make various combinations and play further. The mob system is also quite good so reaching the top requires an adventure that remains challenging.

I love the game and how it's customized. I love how the GM is almost always available(he's a human so has to sleep, can't be blamed) and willing to help and answer questions. BUT there are too many glitches that I constantly get error messages at certain maps(GM tries to fix all these problems ASAP though), sometimes get dced, etc. BIGGEST problem is that balance b/w classes are just bad. poor. awful. disaster. But without doubt this is a great server to try. hail Steve.

PROs has many implementations you won't see on any other server, rifting feature, dual class feature, skill revision such as double casts on skills(physical and magic alike). Both Pro and Con: If you like a server with an ever-changing meta then this it. CONs But if you want to sink your teeth for long term play I'd shy away. Certain classes have favorable playthrus due the nature of rifts, despite balancing away from a meta, creates a mold. Community is very friendly. but find to hard parties.

Want something new? Are you burned out of the usual RO progression but still a fan of the game? Do you like the PoE/Diablo arpg grind and crafting mechanics, but cant run PoE bcoz of its crazy performance optimization and dont have the money to buy Diablo? Then this is the server for you. Pvp might not be a thing (as for every RO servers nowadays) but tons of PvE content. Player count is not that high as its not the usual RO server but its a ton of fun even playing solo.

The concept of dual-class is rly great and fun to play with, but once you try to dive deep into builds, you'll see a lot of classes underperform because they didn't get balanced properly and/or do not have custom equips made for them. There's no economy, you'll see some player shops, but unless you are extremely lazy, you can easily get what they're selling. PvP is non-existent and maybe impossible to implement, so no guild competition either. Community is very friendly, both in-game and discord
